Copy

Creating a full copy of a post in other channels

Copy is the creation of an identical post in your other Telegram channels. Unlike repost, which forwards the original message and retains a link to the original, in mode copy the post is published “from scratch” - it looks like a regular post in the target channel, without the “forwarded” mark and any mention of the source channel.

How to configure

The copy can be configured in two ways:

1. For a separate post

When creating a post, you can manually specify channels to copy.

2. Through stream settings

In the stream settings, activate Copy and select the channels to which posts will be copied. All posts coming out in this stream will be automatically copied to the selected channels.

How it works

  • The post is published in the main channel as usual.

  • At the same time, copies of the post are created in all selected channels. Each copy:

    • Contains the same text, media, buttons, formatting and spoilers.

    • Copies save only pinning, content protection and auto-delete settings. The remaining settings apply only to the original post.

    • The original post is published in the stream you specify, or without it, copies are published in the stream Default.

    • Gets the target channel's autosignature, if configured there, rather than copying the source's autosignature.

  • Default copies not yet published are linked to the original post. If you change the settings of the original post or change the time of publication, the copies will also change. And changes to the copies themselves are blocked. Once published, the copies lose their dependence on the original post.

  • You can unlink a copy from the original scheduled post by clicking the button Unlink the copy. After this, the copy will begin to live its own life, and all post settings will become available.

Delayed and instant posts

Copying works in both publishing modes:

  • Postponed post: copies are created in the schedule along with the main post and published at the appointed time.

  • Instant publication: copies are created and published immediately along with the main post.

Deleting copies

When deleting a scheduled post that has copies, the bot will offer two options:

  • Delete this post only — copies will remain in the schedule as independent posts.

  • Delete along with copies — both the original post and all related copies will be deleted.

If a copy has already been published, it becomes an independent post and must be deleted separately from the rest.

Restrictions

  • You cannot copy a post to the same channel where it was created.

  • Copy And Repost cannot be used simultaneously for one post.
