Repost

Automatic repost function

Repost - this is forwarding a post from the original channel to your other Telegram channels. Unlike copies, a repost maintains a connection with the original: in the target channel, the post is displayed as “forwarded” with the source indicated.

How to configure

Repost can be configured in two ways:

1. For a separate post

When creating a post, you can manually select channels to repost.

2. Through stream settings

IN stream settings activate Repost and select the channels to which posts will be forwarded. All posts published in this stream will be automatically reposted to the selected channels.

How it works

  • The post is published in the main channel as usual.

  • Once published, the original message is forwarded to each selected channel using the standard Telegram mechanism.

  • A repost looks like a forwarded message—subscribers of the target channel see where it came from.

  • Reposts are not deleted when the original post is deleted if it has already been published. If the original publication was scheduled, but then deleted, the reposts are also deleted.

  • For reposts, only pinning and auto-deletion are available. The remaining settings only work for the original publication.

Delayed and instant posts

Repost works in both publishing modes:

  • Postponed post: After the main post is released at the appointed time, the system automatically forwards it to the target channels.

  • Instant publication: reposts are created and sent immediately after the main post is published.

Restrictions

  • Content protection incompatibility: if the function is enabled for the post Protect (prohibition of copying and forwarding), reposting is not available - Telegram will not allow you to forward a protected message. First, disable content protection.

  • You cannot repost a post to the same channel where the original post was created.

  • Repost and A copy cannot be used simultaneously for one post.

  • Autosignature does not apply to reposts - the original message is sent as is, with the autosignature of the original channel, if any.
